Baseplate pad is a non-metal pad placed between the baseplate and the sleeper, possessing certain elasticity and insulation properties. An under-rail pad with good elasticity is referred to as a resilient tie pad or an elastic pad. The materials for baseplate pads typically include rubber, polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomers, or composites, offering elasticity, durability, and insulation properties to meet the requirements for vibration reduction and support.
